Academic Background
Praveen holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from the prestigious National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), India, and a master’s degree in Construction Law from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, United Kingdom.
A Journey Across Borders
Born and raised in Gorakhpur in northern India, Praveen developed an interest in travel and exploration at an early age. A cycling expedition through Nepal during his teenage years sparked a lifelong curiosity about cultures, geography, and the forces that shape societies.
His years as a student at NIT Trichy involved frequent cross-country rail journeys that exposed him to India’s remarkable diversity of languages, traditions, and landscapes. Those experiences laid the foundation for a broader understanding of people, regions, and cultures that continues to inform his writing today.
Since 1993, he has lived and worked internationally, leading major infrastructure and energy projects in locations including Malaysia, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, and other parts of Asia. Along the way, he has travelled extensively across more than 30 countries on five continents.
From Travel Writing to Global Analysis
Before founding Tattvam News Today, Praveen created the travel platform Jaunt Tribes, where he documented destinations through photography, history, architecture, and practical travel insights.
Over time, the same curiosity that drove his travels expanded into a deeper interest in global affairs, economic development, energy security, and international relations. The skills developed through field observation, historical research, and cultural exploration gradually evolved into a broader editorial mission.
Today, through Tattvam News Today, Praveen combines professional experience, on-the-ground observation, and research-driven analysis to provide context and perspective on the events shaping our world.
